Dean Henderson Was rarely tested to perform in the first half until tested by an opponent's bent shot. His sliding challenge on an Albanian attacker demonstrated his game intelligence. 6/10

John Stones Pushed into midfield when in possession, as he has done in the past. Sometimes seemed hesitant in possession with the experiment discontinued after the break. Six

Dan Burn Always dangerous on corners and free-kicks, per usual, could serve as a replacement for his teammate in defense instead of alongside him. One wayward ball later in the match nearly resulted in an opener from the visitors. Six

Nico O’Reilly Another assured showing from the youngster after his debut versus another side. A teammate was unable to take full advantage of a gorgeous touch behind the Albania defence. His position looks secure already. 7

The newcomer His maiden beginning with the national team. Somewhat sloppy in possession though his inswinging deliveries posed a danger. An effective game manager available to the boss to utilize against sides that sit back. Booked for a rash foul. 6/10

Declan Rice Deliveries from dead balls and free kicks created chances. Enjoyed license to move on the left only to be in an offside position as the pass came with a chance to score. Awarded a merited substitution on the hour mark. 6/10

The star midfielder Operated in a high role down the right and did plenty of the hard yards. Displayed glimpses of brilliance but dragged an attempt wide. Withdrawn late on for a teammate, his competition, after being booked. 7

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with the team's top opening before halftime, his strike well saved from Thomas Strakosha. As Quansah staying deep, it fell to him to provide width out wide yet his deliveries from wide areas were hit and miss. Taken off late in the match. Six

Harry Kane The difference-maker scoring seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth strikes in an England shirt. His first a typical opportunist's goal and the second a superb headed goal following a clever run away from the opposition. Now 32, he continues to improve and the side stand a real opportunity in future competitions with him up top. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Found it tough to make an impact out wide. Had a good opening following a pass by Bellingham but Strakosha made the save. Rashford had a greater influence in his place. Five
